The John C. Fremont Hospital Foundation invites you to step behind the mask for an unforgettable evening of glamour, generosity, and celebration at the annual Black and White Ball, returning on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds, Building A.

The event features a delicious three-course dinner with appetizers, and dancing led by a live DJ.

Adding to the excitement, professional auctioneer Grayson Haydn-Myer will lead the live auction with charm, humor, and high energy, making the auction experience both entertaining and engaging.

You will have the opportunity to participate in silent and live auctions, along with a festive 50/50 raffle that gives one lucky winner the chance to leave with money in their pocket.

All proceeds from the Black and White Ball directly benefit the Healthcare District’s programs and services, such as the hospital, clinics, and outpatient services as well as scholarships and community health programs in our surrounding rural areas.

We’re excited to be gearing up for this year’s Black & White Ball—our biggest fundraising event of the year—and we’d love your help in making it a success!

Whether you’ve volunteered with us before or are considering jumping in for the first time—thank you. Your time, energy, and support make all the difference, and we truly couldn’t do it without you.

We’re currently looking for volunteers in the following areas:

Registration (check-in, guest support)
Auction Support (silent/live auction table, item organization)
Event Set-Up (decor, tables, signage)
Event Clean-Up (light teardown, packing, etc.)
Concierge/Guest Assistance (floater, help desk, vendor needs)

The event will take place on Saturday, November 7, and we’ll also need help during the week leading up to it.
